What is a Travel Plan?

A Travel Plan is a package of measures and initiatives aimed at promoting more environmentally friendly
travel choices and reducing overall reliance on the car.

What is the purpose of a Travel Plan?

•  to promote and improve facilities available to enable people to use alternative modes of travel
•  to reduce your carbon footprint and improve the local environment

•  to reduce parking pressure and traffic congestion

Planning Requirements
•  Travel Plans are now required for many planning applications and can enable intensification
    of uses on sites, for example by reducing existing traffic generation
•  We can prepare all relevant documents, liaise with highways officers and discharge
    Travel Plan planning conditions
